...Rises expected on many rivers and streams for the next few days... Recent rains and warmer temperatures in the mountains have increased snowmelt and water levels are already rising on rivers and streams. Rises are expected to peak Sunday or Sunday night then begin decreasing. Areas affected include the Cascades, eastern Oregon mountains, the Grande Ronde Valley and the Blue Mountain Foothills.

...PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN WITH RISING RIVERS THIS WEEKEND... A complex area of low pressure offshore will maintain mild and moist southwest flow into the region through Sunday morning. This will bring rain, heavy at times, to northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. Patchy dense fog or freezing fog will continue through the early evening hours. Visibilities as low as 1/4 to 1/2 mile are possible in spots. Improvement is expected later this evening. If you encounter dense fog or freezing fog, slow down, and allow for extra distance between your vehicle and those around you.
