This dynamic program has evolved over the past two decades through its policies, organization, management, and budget. Jim Douglas is retiring, after more than 20 years of working within, and making major contributions to, the Federal fire organization we know today. Please join the Office of Policy Analysis on December 12, to hear Jim reflect on his experiences and observations at the Department and with our Federal, tribal, state, and local government, and external partners. Bryan Rice, the new Director of the Office of Wildland Fire, will highlight current and future opportunities, and the importance of an integrated fire and resource management program.
