Patchy dense freezing fog continues this morning in the Columbia Basin including the Tri-Cities. Fog should begin to mix out through the late morning hours, but will continue to bring travel impacts to the region including visibilities of one-quarter mile and less, along with some roads becoming slick. Allow for extra commute time and remain cautious when traveling through fog.

Patchy dense freezing fog has formed this morning, primarily along the Columbia and Snake River through the Tri-Cities. Visibilities around the Tri-Cities have been observed to be one quarter mile and less. Allow extra time to commute this morning as roads may be slick in some areas. Fog is forecast to lift by the early afternoon at the latest.
