The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an
Air Quality Advisory, which is IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS
EVENING.
An Air Quality Advisory for Ozone has been issued. High levels of
ozone in the lower atmosphere in the region combined with forecasted
conditions will cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels at times
through 8 PM PDT this evening.
Pollutants can cause burning eyes, runny nose, aggravate heart and
lung diseases, and aggravate other serious health problems. Limit
outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it is smoky. Please
follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung condition.

An Air Quality Alert has been issued for Mason County, effective until
9 AM PDT Friday August 15 due to the current wildfire smoke from the
Bear Gulch Fire. Particulate matter (PM 2.5) levels may reach very
unhealthy or hazardous in areas closest to the fire.

unhealthy or hazardous, everyone should reduce exposure. Stay inside
