...The Flood Watch is extended for the following rivers in Oregon... Coquille River at Coquille affecting South Central Oregon Coast zone. * WHAT...Flooding is possible. The river is expected to approach bankfull early Tuesday morning and hover there through Wednesday. If precipitation amounts are higher than what is in the current forecast, the river could approach flood stage, so the flood watch remains in effect. * WHERE...Coquille River at Coquille. * WHEN...From this morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Expect some slight pasture flooding in low-lying areas along and near the Coquille River. * WHAT...South winds 20 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible near beaches and headlands. * WHERE...North and Central Coast of Oregon. * WHEN...Until 9 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down trees and power lines. Scattered power outages are possible. Travel may be difficult due to strong winds, especially for high profile vehicles. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest winds are expected between 3 PM and 7 PM, especially along the central Oregon coast, where there is around a 50% chance of gusts exceeding 60 mph.

There will be a lull in the snow this morning before additional snow develops this afternoon. However, little daytime snow accumulation is expected except at the higher elevations. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lower snow total of half an inch to 2 inches are forecast from 4000 to 4500 feet along the US-97 corridor between Bend and La Pine this afternoon through Tuesday morning.
