IDAHO FIRE WEATHER ZONES 423 and 426, AND OREGON FIRE WEATHER
ZONES 636 AND 637...
.Dry southwest flow will bring gusty winds and low relative
humidities to the region again Friday afternoon and evening.
These conditions and an unstable air mass may lead to plume-
dominated growth on existing wildfires.
* Affected Area...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 423 Owyhee
Mountains and 426 Southern Highlands. In Oregon, Fire Weather
Zones 636 Burns BLM and 637 Vale BLM.
* Timing...From Friday afternoon through Friday evening.

moderate to strong winds through this evening. Because the best
chance for precipitation will remain west of the Cascades,

could result in critical conditions for eastern portions of Lake
and Modoc counties, and into western Harney County. Winds will be
strong again on Friday, but humidity values will be higher.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds combined with critically low relative
humidity can lead to the rapid growth and spread of new and
existing fires. Outdoor burning is banned during fire season.
* AFFECTED AREA...The eastern half of California Fire Weather Zone
285, this includes Alturas. The eastern part of Oregon Fire
weather zone 625, this includes Adel and Alkali Lake.
