Dense freezing fog across Walla Walla county is slowly expanding
west towards the Columbia River and the Tri-Cities area, with low
visibilities being observed near the confluence of the Snake and
Columbia Rivers. This area of fog is expected to gradually extend
west through the overnight hours, with visibilities of one half
mile or less expected.
Dense freezing fog has been slow to expand south this evening, but
is still expected to continue to grow in area through the
overnight hours. Visibility a half mile or less will continue to
impact Oregon Highway 11 north of Adams and areas from Helix to
the state border.
A narrow band of freezing fog extending from Dufur to Lexington
has developed this evening. The fog is expected to gradually
expand across the southern Blue Mountain Foothills as North
Central Oregon through the overnight hours, with visibilities of
a mile or less possible.

beginning to extend along Oregon Highway 11. Observations show the
fog has extended at least as far south as Athena. The fog bank is
expected to continue expanding south along the northern Blue
Mountain foothills, impacting the Pendleton area and portions of
Interstate-84 later tonight.
