Areas of dense fog have continued across portions of I-84 from Echo through the top of Pendleton, and may continue through the evening and nighttime hours. For now, a dense fog advisory is not expected as this bank is not widespread, however if fog returns overnight after the rain moves through, then a dense fog advisory may become necessary.

Patchy fog and freezing fog, some of which could be locally dense, will develop and persist overnight as abundant moisture at the surface along with cooling temperatures and light winds persist. There may be local dense fog or freezing fog, especially over the higher terrain, where a low stratus deck meets the terrain. Most areas will not have dense fog or freezing fog. If you are traveling, use caution in case visibilities suddenly drop in dense fog or freezing fog. Also, where temperatures are below freezing, roadways may be slick due to freezing rain, refrozen melted snow
