* WHAT...Heavy snow above 5000 feet. Additional snow accumulations of 5 to 20 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Elevations above 5000 feet in the South Central Oregon Cascades. This includes highways 58 near Willamette Pass, 138 and 230 near Diamond Lake Junction and highway 62 near Crater Lake and Crater Lake Park. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PST this evening. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult in the high Cascades and impossible traveling to Crater Lake. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will be at a minimum early this morning at around 4000 feet, then trend up to 5000 feet as snow increases this afternoon and evening.
