decreased over the Durkee Fire Burn Scar since 330 PM PDT, but more
thunderstorms were approaching the area from the southwest. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms in and around the
Durkee Fire Burn Scar.

Otis Mountain, or 40 miles southeast of John Day, moving northeast at
15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust possible. Minor

At 325 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ironside, or 37 miles south of Baker City, moving northeast at 15
mph.
